The Blue line runs Monday - Friday beginning at Prospect & Sachem Streets. Buses leave every fifteen minutes beginning at 7:00 a.m. with the final departure at 6:00 p.m. Nighttime Service begins at 6:00 p.m. from 333 Cedar Street and Whitney/Humphrey.
The Orange line runs Monday - Friday beginning at Whitney and Canner Streets. Bus frequency is every twelve to fifteen minutes from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The last bus in the morning leaves Whitney/Canner at 10:45 a.m. Afternoon service is provided from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the first departure 333 Cedar Street at 4:00pm and from College and Wall at 4:10 p.m. There is one vehicle running between 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Nighttime service Begins at 6:00 p.m. from 333 Cedar Street.
The operator's overarching concern was for the 28km extension to form a seamless continuation of the original Blue Line, with no degradation of performance or safety levels across the wider network. One of the biggest challenges was to provide solutions to issues that spanned multiple systems, contractors and disciplines.
